The Annapolis WILD40/100 EcoSystem™ includes a ruggedized 3U OpenVPX chassis with a backplane specifically designed for 40/100Gb signaling. This 3U OpenVPX chassis includes both a mesh and daisy chained backplane architecture for direct board-to-board communication. Chassis with VITA 91 connectors support Dual 100Gb Ethernet, 8x Gen4 PCIe, or 128 LVDS.
An accompanying WILD Chassis Manager is a secure VITA 46.11 conformant device that can be plugged directly into a backplane or used with an OpenVPX carrier to plug into a backplane as a payload card.

The WILD40™ Seven Slot 3U OpenVPX Chassis is an OpenVPX-compatible chassis capable of accepting up to six 3U tall by 160mm OpenVPX Payload Front Plug-in Modules (FPMs) and one 3U tall by 160mm OpenVPX Switch FPM and up to seven 3U tall by 80mm Rear Transition Modules (RTMs). Plug-in Module slot spacing is 1″.
