The new site features an array of Annapolis Micro Systems new product launches, the latest information on development tools as well as turn-key solutions for the world’s most challenging high performance computing problems.
“Our new website should help tell the story of Annapolis Micro Systems, our high performance computing products, where we come from and where we are going.” said Noah Donaldson, VP of Product Development.
The company, a woman-owned small business in Annapolis, Maryland, which started in 1982, recently underwent a multi-million dollar expansion in equipment for its in-house surface mount manufacturing facility. The new surface mount manufacturing equipment is specially designed for new product introduction which benefits high-mix production and suits Annapolis’ wide range of options available on their COTS products.
Some of the new featured products on Annapolis Micro System’s new web site include: the WILDSTAR A5 Conduction Cooled for OpenVPX 6U, the WILDSTAR 7 for OpenVPX 6U and the WILD Data Storage Solution – 12.8 TB/Slot. Other featured solutions on the site include: Synthetic Aperture Radar, Software-Defined-Radio and SIGINT/ELINT.
The new site also provides information on Annapolis’ technical training classes: Introduction to CoreFire or CoreFire Next Design Suite (3 day class), Advanced Application Development with CoreFire or CoreFire Next (2-day class), and Designing with Wildstar VHDL Board Support Package (3-day class).
Today, Annapolis employs over 60 people and has products used throughout the United States and the world. Annapolis continues to design and manufacture its products in its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. In addition to board level products and software, Annapolis now offers system solutions, including the Wild40 EcoSystem for 3U and 6U, as well as the Wild40 PCI Express based EcoSystem.
