WILDSTAR SAF5 Small Form Factor Module – WSSAF5

Integrating the Altera Agilex™ 9 Direct RF-Series FPGA, the WILDSTAR SAF5 Small Form Factor Module is a tiny SWaP-optimized Direct RF solution that fits within a 1.00" x 1.00" x 4.50" envelope. It delivers high-performance processing and four channels each of 64 GSps A/D and D/A converting at 10-bit resolution.

It includes analog front-end personalization and optional Platform Interface Unit.

The SAF5 combines RF signal acquisition and FPGA processing into a rugged compact solution. This Small Form Factor Module is readily deployed as a standalone unit for edge applications close to the sensor and in other tight envelope man-portable environments. Typical deployments include commercial radar, self-protection systems, Wi-Fi, and next-gen mobile telephony.
