The WILD Chassis Manager is a VITA 46.11/SOSA-aligned chassis manager that can be plugged directly into a backplane or used with an OpenVPX carrier to plug into a backplane as a payload card.

Annapolis was the first company to bring 40Gb & 100Gb bandwidth to OpenVPX with our line of COTS rugged embedded backplanes, chassis and payload cards that are fully designed, qualified and tested for 40/100Gb bandwidths. The WILD40/100 EcoSystem™ for OpenVPX chassis includes both switched and mesh backplane architectures and has already been extensively deployed around the world. In a switched environment, Annapolis has the highest performing OpenVPX Switch on the market, with eight QSFP+ data plane front panel interfaces capable of XAUI, 10GbE, 40Gbe, 56GbE and SDR/DDR/QDR/FDR Infiniband. It also has dual SFP+ control plane interfaces capable of speeds up to 10GbE. This front panel IO along with extensive backplane IO (20x 40GbE or QDR Infiniband and 16x 1GbE) provide over 1.2 TB/s of switching capability. Annapolis backplane also support PCIe Gen3 data rates on the OpenVPX Expansion Plane.
Every WILD40/100 EcoSystem chassis includes a Chassis Monitoring system for fan control and chassis health monitoring with front panel display as well as front panel power switch, Ethernet, VPX System reset button and VPX Maskable Reset button.
